


We are seeking a Systems/Network Engineer to add to its team in support of the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will experience an unparalleled large-scale enterprise environment with over 800 Information Technology systems, 10s of 1000s of servers and desktop devices, processing billions of dollars in annual revenue and supporting a diverse user base spread across the entire US.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will analyze systems and network change requests and create strategies to support adoption of the required changes. Support the design, development, implementation and management of network communications and system changes. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders. Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of network changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in information technology or related curriculum. 3+ years of related operational experience in systems and network engineering. Certification in one or more of; Windows, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certificate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified, Networking Professional (CCNP), or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE). Skilled Communicator Facilitator; able to engage and interact with all organizational/cultural levels. Demonstrable awareness of Splunk reporting (preferred). Demonstrable knowledge and engineering for Windows, Linux, Unix, and Cisco systems. Hands on experience supporting change control processes, and metrics collection/reporting in an enterprise environment. Risk analysis, management, and mitigation experience. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Problem solving and root cause identification experience. US Citizenship or Green Card, with US based residency for at least the past 5 years to qualify for the USPS sensitive security clearance.
