Senior Scientist

MDA Information Systems LLC has an immediate opening for a Senior Scientist subject matter expert in Automatic Target Recognition (ATR). The position provides the opportunity to drive MDA's business in the area of ATR, including but not limited to, Classical Methods, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Multi-INT. Applicants should have a rich background in ATR and be experienced in the IC and DOD communities.

Must be a US Citizen and eligible to receive a TS/SCI clearance.

• Will be responsible for growing MDA's business in this area of ATR through strong personal IC and DOD connections.
• The Senior Scientist will lead a team of highly-skilled engineers and scientists to help acquire new business and drive innovation in the field of ATR for many applications.
• This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense services and systems

• PhD in EE, Physics, CS or similar field
• 10-15 years of work experience in ATR
• Well-recognized expert in ATR-Must have working knowledge of the current Electro-Optical and/or Synthetic Aperture RADAR phenomenologies and significant experience writing technical documents and proposals.
• Knowledge,experience,stong connections in IC and DOD communities
• Excellent presentation skills
• Willing to travel up to 50%
• Former military is a plus

Exceptional Candidates will have:

• Experience with Machine Learning, including Deep Learning
• Experience fusing phenomenologies through Multi-INT principles

• A great candidate will hold a long history of success in the field of ATR and cultivate the strong personal relationships that accompany this history.
