Sales Account Engineer (2326)

Reporting to: Area Sales Leader

Job Summary

Primarily responsible to drive sales growth in North America. Focusing on high growth market sectors.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communicator and networker who enjoys the challenge of supporting and developing relationships and sales growth
  • Thrives in a competitive environment and is motivated and energized by the challenge of increasing share of wallet for existing accounts
  • Assist with reclaiming previous business
  • Develop proposals, including the ability to perform basic thermal calculations to determine proper heating requirements and design effective heating solutions
  • Manage and grow sales within a defined customer list
  • Monitor sales and bookings for assigned accounts
  • Efficiently manage and process the various aspects of the order cycle, such as order entry, approval drawings, and material returns authorizations
  • Welcomes and enjoys occasional travel (not to exceed 10%)

Qualifications, Skills

  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical engineering preferred; other technical degrees considered
  • 2-4 years of sales and/or service experience
  • Works well within a team and demonstrates initiative and a drive for results
  • Enjoys a hardworking, fast-paced environment with technical challenges and opportunities
  • Must be able to multi-task as well as possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated, driven, flexible and adaptable; results driven
