PKI Security Engineer

We are seeking a PKI Security Engineer to add to our team in support of the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will experience an unparalleled large-scale enterprise environment with over 800 Information Technology systems, 10s of 1000s of servers and desktop devices, processing billions of dollars in annual revenue and supporting a diverse user base spread across the entire US.    Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will support digital certificate management processes and leading practice. Will leverage existing CM tool (ServiceNow), and Venafi solution to receive, QA and issue certificates for the Corporate Information Security Office (CISO).

• Customer focus for supporting hundreds of applications / services using thousands of certificates. • Consult with other members of project team and end users to identify PKI requirements and develop requirements documentation. • Contribute to the technical direction on all areas of PKI architecture, including policies, standards, strategies, automation and governance. • Provide guidance to key stakeholders on PKI lifecycle, processes and procedures. • Work with administrators in securing, specifically in Windows/LINUX OS environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) cybersecurity design and/or operations experience. • 3+ years of related operational experience within the PKI domain. • Bachelor's in information security or related curriculum. • Demonstrable experience with certificate management tools (Venafi preferred) with auto-provisioning. • Demonstrable experience with ServiceNow Change/Incident/Problem management or a comparable tool. • Scripting experience using Powershell, Javascript, or Python. • Strong communication skills in dealing with IT developers and system administrators.

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Ansible playbooks.
