Landscape Architect

This position is responsible for planning, design, and construction document efforts reflective of the profession of Landscape Architecture. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for small to mid-sized tasks of medium complexity, in addition to excellent project involvement opportunities.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work on simultaneous projects, acting in different roles, depending on project size and complexity.
  • Complete planning and design studies with minimal direction and with other project team members.
  • Construction document production of site, grading and landscape plans, details, etc.
  • Coordinate drawings with consultants and other disciplines.
  • Responsible for construction management aspects including site visits and all necessary communication and documentation needed to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Be involved in the financial aspects of projects as it relates to construction budgets and fees.
  • Participate in marketing activities and the development of presentation materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture required.
  • Minimum five years relevant experience in an architecture or landscape architecture firm required. Seven years preferred.
  • Registered Landscape Architect in the United States or Council of Landscape Architecture Registration Board (CLARB) certified.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp and/or Rhino required. Revit, 3D rendering software, GIS, and Adobe Photoshop experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively work with team members and manage multiple demands. Strong attention to detail with analytical and technical skills, proven organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to adjust to shifting priorities and/or deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including in person and virtual conversations.
  • Ability to travel to clients and job sites as needed.
  • Sustainability accreditation preferred.
