Corporate Facility Security Officer

• Manage, administer and coordinate the DOD and IC security program activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures• Provide physical Security and overall management of approved DoD and Agency SCIFs and networks up to TS/SCI and SAP• Manage the MFO Insider Threat Program working closely with GOV CI counterparts to ensure a current and responsive Insider threat program• Provide weekly updates on all Corporate security issues that require visibility by corporate leadership• Administer personnel security clearance processes to include coordinating initial clearance submissions and periodic reinvestigations of staff, providing guidance and instruction to staff to ensure completion of security paperwork• Process and review personnel security clearances and maintain all security documentation, files, and clearance and suitability rosters in accordance with government requirements up to TS/SCI/SAP• Update and maintain Facility and Personnel security plans, procedures, and instructions in accordance with applicable requirements. This includes all ICD-705 Areas working closely with accreditation officials• Provide Federal Agency or component personnel suitability processing support and coordination.• Provide and document new employee security briefings, exit interviews and debriefing, investigate and report security violations and incidents.• Maintain classified holdings and prepare classified transmittals in accordance with NISPOM guidelines and requirements.• Manage and develop annual refresher training and other security education programs to include preparing necessary documentation in support of the DSS audits.• Provide security support to Human Resources, Contracts, and Proposal teams.• Advise personnel of their reporting requirements, both personal/administrative and compliance/incident-related reports.• Interpret government policies for the development and implementation of security plans and procedures.• Maintain a working relationship with DSS or other Federal Agencies and each contract’s security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances or suitability determinations.• Develop and maintain effective “Document Inventory and Control Program” for management of classified systems, media and documents.• Prepare for and participate in various government audits, inspections, and reviews• Handle FCL sponsorship requests from subcontractors, provide DD254s and perform annual subcontractor DD254 review


Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS and/or 5+ years personnel/industrial security-related experience• CSSO and FSO Certified• Superior computer-related skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel (pivot tables/formula and formatting functions), PowerPoint, and Outlook• Extensive knowledge of JPAS, eQIP, DISS, NISS• Highly motivated, dynamic, responsive, and professional team player• Excellent customer service, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills• Exceptional presentation/briefing skills• Work independently with minimal supervision• Self-motivated with a concentrated ability to develop and implement workflow and process improvements• Makes effective use of time and resources• Solid administrative and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail 

Required Clearance

• This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
