This position covers the front desk reception and coordinates special projects. Independent judgment is needed to evaluate customer needs and provide resources that are appropriate.Front Desk Duties Include:

  • Provides scheduling assistance to the Director.
  • Inputs job postings and events into a proprietary web-based system and LinkedIn.
  • Creates surveys using Qualtrics.
  • Orders supplies using HCOM.
  • Assists students/alumni in scheduling office hours with staff and password assistance (within the same proprietary system).
  • Answers basic career related questions at front desk.
  • Assists with major events including creating nametags, hosting, and organization.
  • Updates and posts content to offices' websites.
Additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to filing, basic administrative work. Special Project Coordination Duties Include:
  • Implement assigned projects for the Career Success Workshop, Graduate Plans data, and student programs; coordinate project activities with appropriate staff and project partners.
  • Creates detailed project plans.
  • Work with appropriate staff and partners to implement, evaluate and report on project activities; provide technical assistance to students, staff, faculty, and employers, as needed to implement project activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to monitor project outcomes; generate and present reports using standard formats and graphical summaries.Prepare written reports.
Basic Qualifications3 years of Administrative experience. Experience working in a customer service role.
