Our client is a privately owned technological business group with an international presence.  Founded in 1984, they offer its solutions, services, and products in very diverse sectors:  Aeronautics, Banking and Finance, Space, Defense, Health, Security, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Automotive, Telecommunications, and IT for Public Administration and large corporations. They are currently seeking Software Engineer (Maintenance & Support) in Rockville, Maryland. JOB DESCRIPTION Serve as a team member of the satellite software maintenance team, providing operational maintenance and support for a global satellite monitoring and control center operations.  Position is based out of Rockville, Maryland with travel to Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain for training and other support activities 5% of the time over a year.Associated tasks include:  investigation of software problems reported by customers and preparation of fixes, reporting, documentation of results, and operational support to the customers.
