SCN C4I Installation Coordinator

The SCN C4I Installation Coordinator will be the liaison between the on-site Waterfront Management, private sector shipyards, prime contractors, sub-contractors, and SUPSHIP personnel.  The SCN C4I Installation Coordinator will perform most of the duties down at the waterfront aboard US Navy ships. Lifting equipment that could weigh up to 30lbs is a requirement.

The SCN C4I Installation Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Government DDG 116 platform manager with onsite technical support to include systems, network, security tests or certifications during all phases of ships production, availability and trials.  Responsible for coordinating the SOVTs with the ISEAs, witness testing and crew acceptance of the C4I systems.  Review and provide input to schedules provided by the Government Lead as they pertain to C4I systems.  Be responsible to compose and send out status updates for all SPAWAR C4I installs. Tasking will require the candidate to attend working group meetings and coordinate VIP visits/briefs related to C4I Systems as required.

Designations/Certifications:  Active Secret security clearance

Knowledge:  Must be able to plan, oversee, coordinate and resolve technical issues to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, proactive, innovative, collaborative, and driven to achieve desired results.  Ability to work under pressure and respond to changing demands.

Experience:  Must have 10 years of experience in operation, maintenance, repair, systems integration, test and evaluation, and integrated logistics support/life cycle support of shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Exterior Communications (EXCOMM) Systems.  Understand the SPAWAR Installation processes and procedures, and the Mayport Shipyard processes and training requirements.

Education:  High School diploma is required, US Navy background in Electronics tech or Information technology preferred.
