Sales/Marketing Consultant

Job Summary

Sales/Marketing Consultants will sell advertising space in digital media and publications. Additionally, a consultant will create networking opportunities and call on businesses for new opportunities.

  • Maintain assigned accounts as well as develop new accounts
  • Explain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible
  • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services
  • Locate and contact potential clients to offer advertising services
  • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts

Work Activities

  • Educate and sell to existing and new customers on full suite of products through print and digital media platforms
  • Communicate with clients and customers through email, phone or face to face presentations
  • Organize, Plan, and Prioritize Work - Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish goals
  • Travel required


  • Knowledge of digital advertising through local search, websites, and social media platforms
  • Coordinate action plans to build your business
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve in a rapid fashion
  • Proven sales success; preferably in yellow page and digital advertising


  • Aptitude to learn new digital products, processes, and technologies
  • Ability to sell print and digital media on a local level
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Understanding of Internet, Smartphone/Tablet Devices for the use of research and functionality
