Reports to Director of Human Resources.  Communicates daily with upper management. Serve as a dynamic recruiter maintaining responsibility for leading the full life cycle of the recruiting process for assigned openings supporting various DoD mission critical programs. Recruiter will serve as lead within a corporate hiring team focused on recruiting engineering, analyst, program support and financial administrative roles.  Manage the day–to–day interaction with candidates and hiring managers to include drafting accurate and effective job descriptions, conducting prescreens in a timely manner, coordinating/conduct interviews, and assisting with new hire on boarding to fill critical positions.  Assist Director of HR to continually enhance the new hire process and sourcing/outreach efforts. Responsible for tracking recruiting activity and other metrics to ensure compliance with relevant hiring regulations and laws, including OFCCP requirements. BA or BS degree. Candidate should have 5+ years of experience with full life cycle recruiting. Candidate must have experience with performing interviews to assess candidate's capabilities, managing the evaluation process, and providing guidance on compensation. Experience with Navy programs is desired. Experience in practical recruiting / HR and working within California’s employment laws. Knowledge of DoD contracting; specifically, Navy C4I systems and programs. Knowledge to navigate and manage applicant tracking systems. Ability to maintain productivity in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities and direction. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills - must be able to communicate with upper management to assess needs and control expectations in an effective and positive manner as well as excellent communication skills to keep Corporate office informed on all activities and developments.
