Production Control Clerk

Skookum, an award winning, non-profit, government and commercial contractor seeks a professional and adept Pro duction Control Clerk at Skookum’s contract for the National Institute of Health in Poolesville, Maryland to join our team. As a Production Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date records. The Production Control Clerk will also assist in overall operations, which includes but is not limited to: training, quality, HAZMAT compliance, and safety.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Verify all work-in-progress to include, but not limited to: forms and records to ensure quality, completeness and timeliness.
  • Research, initiate, draft, and complete pre-printed work orders for all facilities & equipment scheduled.
  • Performs spot checks and makes on-the-spot corrections to ensure the highest quality of performance is achieved and maintained.
  • Ensures Company rules, regulations and policies are followed.
  • Verify all data entries by checks and balances with T/A, Attendance Summary, and Hour verification sheets and ensure consistency of information between records.
  • Verify, Maintain and Complete ordering inventory


  • Maintain man lift, scissor and 10-ton forklift certifications.


  • Must be able to interpret route maps and contract requirements and regulations as they pertain to the mission.
  • Must be detail oriented with the following: planning, organizing, scheduling and monitoring.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all areas of maintenance operations, work safety and HAZMAT.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.Valid MD State Driver License Required.
  • Must have a good driving record and be bondable by Skookum’s insurance carrier.

This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Contract anticipated to begin June 1, 2018.Approximate Salary: DOE
