Journeyman Security Management Support

They are currently seeking Journeyman Security Management Support at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.



Our client is searching for full-time Journeyman Security Management Support, supporting their Federal client at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Responsibilities include: • Assist with technical security services relative to the development, acquisition, and sustainment of aeronautical weapon systems, sub-systems, and associated support systems.   • Implementation of Information, Personnel, Physical, Industrial, and Communications Security; Resource Protection, Force Protection, and Anti- Terrorism programs.    • Assist with program protection, technology control, protection of For Official Use Only (FOUO) information, and other information requiring protection ensuring compliance with related DoD and AF instructions.    • Support the Directorate’s Security operation by maintaining Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) coordinated meetings and agendas.   • Prepare and coordinate security-related briefing materials.  Provide security-related technical assistance to the Directorate for briefings, meetings, and conferences.  Record and track security program action items, suspenses, and processes.   • Assist with managing newcomer and security-related databases.  • Maintain an active Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) account and assist with verifying personnel security clearances.   • Assist with providing special administrative and logistical assistance for visiting personnel.  • Process personnel security investigation documents, reviewing the investigation documents for accuracy, and tracking submitted requests for personnel security clearances.   • Assist with the development of security requirements into contractual commitments.   • Administratively assist with the coordination of DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specification.  • Assist travelers in preparing Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) and Continental United States (CONUS) travel clearance and security training requirements.  • Establish and maintain official file plans with the use of AFRIMS.   • Assist with electronic files management, records management, and file plan management.   • Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare security-related spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and documents.  • Prepare and maintain security program documentation and briefing materials.



•  A minimum of two (2) years of any experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects. Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to their functional area.  


• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.  A minimum of an additional six (6) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree; or, a minimum of an additional four (4) years of relevant work experience plus an Associate’s degree may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. 



• Must hold a current Top Secret Clearance
