Information Assurance Specialist

STF is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) specialist to perform IA services for Navy C4I Programs and Systems. The individual will coordinate, manage and execute a wide range of IA analyses and documentation development in support of DoD certification and accreditation (C&A) activities. Individual will support DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts and IAVM processes across multiple programs. Facilitating the development of documentation in support of DoD RMF accreditations, perform vulnerability management activities, and oversee the creation and submission of DoD (RMF) packages. Duties include the design of, and conducting tests of designs and architectures, providing technical engineering services for the support of integrated systems and solutions, and utilizing tools and processes to monitor information systems. Support efforts may include Top Secret and Below Interoperability (TSABI)/ Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Processes, development of multiple Cross Domain Solution Appendixes (CDSAs). Understanding of CDSA Phase I thru CDSA Phase III Process, IT Systems Support, IA Validation Testing, Information Systems Security Engineering, DoD 5000 Series/SECNAVINST 5000 documentation is desired. Bachelor's or master’s degree in information technology, specializing in Information Assurance, Systems Engineering, Network Architecture and Design, or related field of study. Minimum 5 years of recent experience in the Information Assurance field. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of system administration of platforms, including Windows, Unix, or Linux. Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to write reports and correspondence in clear and concise language and in appropriate form and style. DoD IAWF requirement for IAM Level I/II. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to federally-controlled information and/or facilities.
