Hall's Culligan Water and PrairieFire Coffee Roasters has an immediate opening for a Human Resource (HR) Generalist. Our family of companies employs 750 people across 9 states in over 40 dealerships. This position will be responsible for interacting with the business and supporting HR practices across all of our locations.

  • Support various HR practices that include, but are not limited to, development and implementation of HR policy and procedures, performance plans, pre-employment screening, new hire orientation, and employee terminations.
  • Consult with and provide employee relations support to managers, supervisors and employees to ensure complaints, performance management, corrective action and disciplinary actions are handled in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
  • Process required documentation for new hires, employee changes, and terminations accurately and timely.
  • Handle workers compensation claims across all states; including interfacing with injured workers, insurance companies, attorneys, adjusters, etc.
  • Prepare internal and external reporting such as OSHA, EEOC.
  • Leave management and interactive processes to include: ADA, worker's compensation, unemployment, FMLA, STD and LTD processes in multiple states.
  • Manage, compile and analyze data. Send accurate reports and communication to various groups of the organization.
  • Consult with managers and staff on all HR matters.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study and 3 years Human Resource Generalist experience; or
  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resource generalist experience, including the entire employment process from hire to termination.
  • Emphasis on experience in leave administration, and worker's compensation claims management. Knowledge of California specific leave and worker's compensation practices preferred.
