Agiloft is looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to join our growing sales deal desk and enablement team, partnering with sales and sales operations to efficiently negotiate and close deals through your valuable quoting, agreement, and ordering knowledge and support.

The deal desk specialist is responsible for working with sales on non-standard deals, with legal on non-standard agreements, with sales operations on ordering, and for facilitating standard deals with process support and improvement. You will work closely with sales and sales operations, reporting to the VP of Sales Operations. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented sales or sales operations professional who has SaaS B2B deal desk experience that thrives on teamwork and contributing to closed deals and sales results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on pricing, quoting, legal, and ordering policies and procedures for the sales team, providing direct support to close deals.
  • Assist with quote generation and provide quote reviews.
  • Handle escalations for non-standard deals and agreements.
  • Manage deal tracking and status reports with a sharp focus on details to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Track agreement reviews and work with legal and the VP of Sales Operations on agreement reviews.
  • Assist with order submission and provide order reviews.
  • Work with sales enablement to develop or maintain sales resources to facilitate efficient onboarding and ongoing training, including deal and legal playbooks.
  • Work with sales operations to streamline quoting, agreement review, and ordering processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the sales process, identify bottlenecks, resolve inconsistencies, and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • 2 years of direct experience in Deal Desk or related sales function required.
  • Experience in deal desk B2B SaaS solutions required, with preference for Contract Lifecycle Management, Sourcing, Legal, or related business process products.
  • Knowledge of deal desk, sales operations, and sales methodologies and processes required. 
  • Experience with SaaS licensing, PSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and other commercial agreements, paralegal, or other legal experience preferred.
  • Excellent project and task management skills, managing multiple deals and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated; highly driven to produce results as a team member and individual contributor.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
