Career Consultant

The Office of Career Development & Placement Assistance at the University of Pittsburgh provides excellent services and resources to students "from start to finish" during their career journey. The Office of Career Development & Placement Assistance is seeking a qualified candidate for the Career Consultant position.The Career Consultant will assist students/alumni with career planning, internships, job search strategies, and graduate school preparation. Duties of this 12-month position include individual appointments, walk-in appointments, workshops & programs, developing job search resources, outreach to residence halls and student organizations, and establishing contacts with faculty and academic advisors. The incumbent should possess a working knowledge of career development issues relevant to undergraduate students within assigned portfolio, including career-related assessments. The consultant in this position will work with students of all class levels within majors including engineering, information science, computer science, natural sciences, math, and statistics.The University of Pittsburgh is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and values equality of opportunity, human dignity and diversity.
