Associate Product Manager (Companion Diagnostics)

The Associate Product Manager, Companion Diagnostics is primarily responsible for assisting with the tactical execution of initiatives contained within the BRACAnalysis CDx and myChoice HRD strategic plans, which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Tactical execution of collateral development and messaging for companion diagnostic products
  • Assisting with building a deep understanding of regulatory requirements required by field sales personnel and ensuring that Myriad is 100% compliant with those regulations
  • Assists in generation and presentation of educational/informational material to Business Unit Sales Force and selected internal/external groups
  • Participates in, reports on and assists in planning response to cross-functional input and feedback (e.g., Customer Service, Marketing and Sales Operations) to improve brand awareness and consistency
  • Execute campaigns to drive awareness of current indications and build foundation for future indications
  • Lead all Companion Diagnostic activities and plans to drive awareness at SABCS, SGO, ASCO, and at additional national meeting events


Additionally the Associate Product Manager will be responsible for the following generic marketing activities.

Assists Product Manager, Companion Diagnostics in:

  • Strategic plan formulation, monitoring and adherence
  • Market screening/analysis
  • Market research
  • Development of product/segment positioning
  • Investigation of new markets/products/line extension
  • Market Evaluation
  • Gathering, collating and evaluating market research
  • Monitoring competitive activity
  • Monitoring clinical landscape
  • Identifying customer needs
  • Pricing analysis
  • Tactical plan
  • Initiative execution
  • Determining ROI on initiatives
  • Cross-functional support and communication
  • Executes support for Business Unit sales activities


Bachelor's degree is mandatory; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.


The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in marketing (or equivalent) in pharma, diagnostics, or medical device products.

The successful candidate will have had experience in the sales arena for oncology products/services, either through direct sales experience, sales leadership experience or very close alliance with field sales and sales leadership in a medical or marketing position
