Administrative & Logistics Specialist - GPS

JOB TITLE: Administrative & Logistics Specialist - GPS

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The individual will support the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PNT PO) with modernization of a variety of existing GPS receivers to meet existing DoD / civil mandates and DoD / national-level priorities. This position will be assigned at government offices at Warner Robins, GA.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing acquisition management support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of acquisition services in support of the customers mission. Services include some or all of the following:

  • Develop new approaches to problems encountered and support the management of logistics strategies for assigned projects, as directed by the project lead
  • Implement logistics related plans by preparing and reviewing program documents, including detailed acquisition plans, development and production schedules
  • Support the overall project lead and provide support to Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings
  • Perform liaison work with other AFLCMC Program Offices, and operational units
  • Assist as required in organizing meetings, tracking and responding to suspenses, and preparing staff packages
  • Milestone preparation and documentation of these activities in program briefs and reports
  • Provides executive assistance support to Government PM and PNT PO GPS Modernization team

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5 years related experience
  • Experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally

Excellent skills with MS Office product suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years related experience
  • Level I DIWIA Certification
  • Experience as an executive or administrative officer in support of Directorate, Division or Branch-level functions or equivalents

WORK LOCATION: Robins AFB GA

TRAVEL: 5%
