Account Executive

General Job Description:

ABC57 seeks a highly motivated, creative and ambitious Account Executive with a proven track record in television. The successful candidate will focus on new business development and sell the newest products in the marketplace: ABC57 News, The CW 25, MyMichiana 69, Me-TV Michiana, Movies!-TV, Decades-TV and our web site, -

Responsibilities: Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.

Establishes credible relationships with local business community.

Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients.

Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.

Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.

Explains to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.

Other duties, as assigned.


The candidate for this position must have a track record of new business development.

Strong written, verbal, negotiation and communication skills.

Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record and proof of insurance

Previous media sales experience and a bachelor's degree is preferred

Excellent computer skills are a must
