Senior Systems Engineer – ESRP Lead Engineer

The Environmental Satellite Receiver Processor (ESRP) program Lead Engineer (LE) will lead systems engineering efforts for the program office team and provide guidance to the commercial ISEA, Raytheon, using systems engineering practices and following PEO C4I/SPAWAR policies and procedures.  Oversee and facilitate Environmental Satellite Receiver Processors (ESRP) efforts, including engineering, testing and implementation of software and hardware modernized systems to afloat and ashore systems.  Develop/Review Enterprise Change Request (ECRs) and lead Raytheon to create a complete design package.  Socialize the change with impacted programs as coordinated through the Assistant Program Manager for Engineering (APM-E).  Work with APM-E to develop ECRs and solve cross program, cross PMW, and cross service integration issues.  Identify technical risks and appropriate mitigations and present to APM, APME leadership and follow engineering CONOPS. Perform trade studies and AoAs as needed to develop technical options or risk mitigations.  Ensure requirements are met for all efforts.  Review engineering documentation, diagrams, etc.

Designations/Certifications:  Secret clearance is required.

Knowledge:  Proficient with Microsoft Office products, to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio. Knowledgeable of SPAWAR PEO Integrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER) databases.

Experience:  Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.  Knowledge of SATCOM and Navy Networks. Knowledge of program management, scheduling, budgets.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
