Senior Analyst

Senior Analyst to assist government personnel perform a wide range of acquisition program management activities. Producing and/or reviewing substantive and/or complex documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of functional areas as identified in the statement of work. Documenting requirements-based design, cross-functional integration, feasibility studies, and functional process specifications. Performing evaluation of alternatives and assessment of risks and costs. Assembling, preparing, and analyzing data for studies; statistical models; evaluations; system requirements; and other needs. Using technical discretion within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches or obtaining solutions. Assembling, preparing, and analyzing data as required by the Program. Providing technical advice and operating assistance in interpreting results. Providing input or preparing technical reports based on the expert interpretation of analyzed data.  Performing a variety of logistics tasks concerned with the design, implementation, operation, and performance of logistics functions, including supply chain, acquisition, distribution, and transportation.

Knowledge:  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to write reports and correspondence in clear concise language in the appropriate form and style. Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical data packages and bills of material.

Experience:  Minimum of 7 years Systems Analysis experience in Defense industry/Department of the Navy or comparable Government Agencies. Minimum of four (4) years of experience with a Navy Afloat Network Program (such as ADNS, CANES, SubLAN, and AI).

Education:  Bachelor´s degree from an accredited university or college is required. Degree in Engineering, Systems Management, Information Technology Systems or Business Administration is desirable. MS or MBA degree a plus.
