Mission Sensor Operator
*This position is contingent upon award of the contract.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates infrared/EO sensor systems, and illuminator equipment.
- Performs mission planning by assembling target information, de-conflicting airspace, building pre-mission briefing and presenting it to crew.
- Pre-flights and post-flights infrared and EO/sensor systems, illuminator equipment, and allied components.
- Operates and monitors infrared and EO detection systems by searching for, acquiring, and identifying particular structures, personnel, and vehicles.
- Communicates with control authority and/or other airborne assets via tactical radios to include SATCOM and Line of Sight.
- Prepares mission and maintenance reports.
- Prepares in-flight mission reports and assures proper documentation of equipment malfunctions in required forms and reports.
- Participates in maintenance, operations, and intelligence briefings.
- Professionally interacts with and briefs high-level law-enforcement and government agencies. 

Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Four years of experience as Special Operations ground forces member required.
- Tactical radio use and maintenance to include; Harris PRC 117F, PRC 117G, MBITR PRC-148, PRC-152, PRC 112/149 CSAR radio and associated cryptological equipment required.
- Experience in the utilization or operation of manned ISR assets highly required.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- LIDAR or Wide Area Sensor experience highly preferred
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
Clearance Required: Active Secret
